Scuba Instruction
Scuba Review Course - $200.00/$285.00 - 2 Hour Pool Session - 8:30am
At Pacific Ocean Sports, we cater to all levels of experience and needs, ranging from the beginning diver to the professional
Going on a dive trip and haven't been in the water recently? This course allows you to review all your dive skills in the classroom and pool. An instructor will go over gear set-up and an in-water review all of the skills of the PADI Open Water Course.
We do offer additional refresher courses if these dates/times do no not work with your schedule

PADI Advanced Open Water Certification - $400.00 + $150 Boat Fee
This course allows you to further your fundamental dive skills that you learned in the beginning class and expand your comfort level. This course consists of a classroom session and (5) five dives, included a Deep Dive and Navigational Dive. The other three dives might consist of a Night Dive, Boat Dive, Underwater Photography Dive, Underwater Recovery Dive, or a Fish Identification Dive.
PADI Rescue Certification - $500.00 (EFR/CPR/First Aid/AED $125)
PADI Dive Master Certification - $950.00 + Education Material Packets (approximately $425)
PADI Enriched Air Certification (Nitrox) - $175.00 - Class time is scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time with the instructor and student, during store hours

Academic: Complete online coursework prior to first day of class (About 6-8 hours)
Swim Test: 200 Yard Swim and 10 Min Tread/Float

Maximum Depth for Training Dives:
- Dives 1/2 - 40 ft
- Dives 3/4 - 60 ft
Age Requirements:
- Min age: 10 Years old
- Age 10-13 required to book custom course

Open Water Class: Semi-Custom Format
This course format allows you to schedule your academic/pool sessions with us. We are flexible and can accommodate mid week, day/night, or weekend. You would still complete your Ocean dives in Monterey on a scheduled weekend.
Cost: $925 (All-inclusive. You are not required to buy anything)
Open Water Class: Full Custom Format
Limited on time but would like to get certified before your trip? This is the course option for you! We schedule the class/pool dates and times around your schedule and then you will complete your dives at Aquatic Park in San Francisco.
Typically, you can complete the academic work/pool in one day, and two additional mornings for the certification dives.
Cost: $1000 (All-inclusive. You are not required to buy anything)
Dates/Times: Scheduled with our Instructor Staff
Open Water Class: Referral (Complete your dives on your trip)
Cost: $650 (All-inclusive. You are not required to buy anything)

Don't want to dive in Monterey? Leaving for a trip and want to complete your academic/pool training here and then complete your dives on vacation? You can complete your dives at any PADI dive shop (Worldwide) after you complete the Open Water Referral.
Try Scuba - $75.00
Not sure if Scuba is for you? Try a 30 minute pool session.
Prerequisites:
- Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
- Must have proof of 20 or more logged dives
- Minimum age: 12 years or older
- Depth: Maximum depth depends on your age, maximum depth is up to 30 metres/100 feet
