PADI Open Water Referral Certification: Standard Class Format

Don't want to dive in Monterey? Leaving for a trip and want to complete your academic/pool training here and then complete your dives on vacation? You can complete your dives at any PADI dive shop (Worldwide) after you complete the Open Water Referral.

Schedule: 

• Friday 5:45pm - 9:00pm (Academic work at the shop)
• Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm (Pool in Walnut Creek)
• Sunday 6:45am - 12:00pm (Pool in Walnut Creek)

Price - Standard Class Format:

• 14 + years old - $700
• 10 - 13 years old - $775

Price - Custom Format: If the scheduled classroom and pool dates do not work with your schedule, you can sign up for a custom course that allows you to schedule the classroom and pool dates at your convenience.

• 14 + years old - $825
• 10 - 13 years old - $900

Open Water Course Referral Requirements:

Academic: Complete online coursework prior to first day of class (Approximately 8 - 10 hours)

Pool Training: 24 Skills

Swim Test: 200 Yard Swim and a 10 Minute Tread/Float

Age Requirements: Min age: 10 years old, Age 10-13 required to book custom course + $300

Equipment: All equipment is provided for the course
