PADI Open Water Certification: Standard Class Format
This class starts ones journey into the underwater world and is the beginning level certification. The class consists of academics and equipment assembly, pool, and four open water dives to become certified as a PADI Open Water Diver.
Schedule:
- Friday 6:00pm - 9:00pm (Academic work at the shop)
- Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm (Pool in Walnut Creek)
- Sunday 6:45am - 12:00pm (Pool in Walnut Creek)
Following Weekend
- Saturday in Monterey or Tahoe (7am-2pm)
- Sunday in Monterey or Tahoe (7am-12pm)
Price - Standard Class Format:
- 14 + years old - $800.00
- 10 - 13 years old - $1100
Price - Semi-Custom Format: If the scheduled classroom and pool dates do not work with your schedule, you can sign up for a semi-custom course that allows you to schedule the classroom and pool dates at your convenience. You would still have to sign up for a scheduled ocean weekend to complete the ocean dives.
- 14 + years old - $975
- 10 - 13 years old - $1275
Open Water Course Requirements:
Academic: Complete online coursework prior to first day of class (Approximately 6-8 hours) *. Pool Training: 24 Skills * Swim Test: 200 Yard Swim and a 10 Min Tread/Float * 4 Open Water Dives with a Maximum Deptht: Dives 1 and 2 - 40 feet. Dives 3 and 4 - 60 feet * Age Requirements: Min age: 10 years old, Age 10-13 required to book custom course + $300 * Equipment: All equipment is provided for the course

PADI Custom Open Water Course
PADI Open Water Certification: Full Custom Format with Dives in Shadow Cliffs Reservoir - $1000.00
This is a complete customized course to fit your scheduling needs. Schedule your classroom/pool session(s) 1:1 with an instructor on dates that fit with your schedule. This ALSO includes your certification dives at Shadow Cliffs Reservoir in Livermore to be scheduled at your convenience. The water is warmer for those not wanting to dive in Monterey and is easier to finish the dives for those that are in a time crunch.
PADI Open Water Certification: Full Custom Format with Dives in Monterey - $1350.00
This is a complete customized course to fit your scheduling needs. This format is usually 1:1. You will schedule dates/times for the academic/pool/Monterey dives - Dates/Times: Scheduled with our Instructor Staff

This is a complete customized course to fit your scheduling needs. Schedule your classroom/pool session(s) 1:1 with an instructor on dates that fit with your schedule. This ALSO includes your certification dives at the Aquatic Park in San Francisco to be scheduled at your convenience.
Includes EVERYTHING needed for the class, including: E-Learning, instruction, all required scuba gear for the pool and the ocean.
You are not required to buy anything.
